The RoG Area IV 4G is designed for hunting in dense forest and big game drives: it uses the 4G LTE network via an international multi-carrier eSIM (150+ countries) for real-time tracking with no range limit, with 4 simultaneous positioning systems (GPS, BeiDou, AGPS, LBS) offering accuracy of a few metres even under forest canopy. It manages up to 100 dogs on a single account and integrates a virtual anti-escape fence built into the collar. The TR DOG V2 combines VHF 15 km and 4G with a dedicated base unit to track up to 20 dogs with a refresh every 2.5 seconds.

The collar picks up the dog's position via 4 satellite systems (GPS, BeiDou, AGPS, LBS cell triangulation) and transmits it to your smartphone over the 4G LTE network. You follow the route in real time on the map, with trip history and zone alerts. On the Area IV model, a worldwide multi-carrier eSIM is built in — no SIM card to buy. The collar also integrates a virtual fence that automatically triggers a sound signal, vibration or stimulation if the dog crosses the defined zone, without depending on the mobile network. In the event of total network loss, the audible and visual locator (300 m range) lets you find the dog by ear.

The RoG Area IV achieves 10 to 15 days in standby mode and 40 hours in continuous active tracking, thanks to an intelligent algorithm that adapts the refresh rate to the animal's behaviour. Charges via USB-C. The TR DOG V2 offers about 40 hours in active VHF mode with a refresh every 2.5 seconds — more than enough for several consecutive days of hunting.

No, no recurring subscription. The RoG Area IV integrates a worldwide multi-carrier eSIM and the 1st year of data is included free with your purchase. After that, you extend with a one-off data plan (no monthly direct debit): €55/year, €115 for 3 years or €138 for 5 years. The app is free for life. The virtual anti-escape fence is built into the collar and works in all circumstances, without a plan or network.
