Version: August 2026. These terms apply to professional accounts. Consumers are covered by the consumer terms of sale. For the practical return, warranty and after-sales procedure, see Returns, warranty & after-sales.
1. Purpose and scope
These Professional Terms of Sale ("Pro Terms") govern sales made by NOVASOFT TECH, which operates the RoG Hunting brand among others, to customers acting for business purposes, in particular resellers, distributors, retailers and other professionals.
Any order placed through a professional account implies acceptance of these Pro Terms.
These terms are separate from the terms applicable to consumers.
2. Professional account and reseller access
Access to trade prices is reserved for professionals whose account has been validated beforehand.
When registering, the professional may be asked to provide:
- Its company name
- The first and last name of the person in charge
- Its SIREN/SIRET number or equivalent registration number
- A Kbis extract or equivalent business document
- Its billing address
- Its delivery address
- Its email address
- Its telephone number
RoG Hunting reserves the right to verify the information provided and to request any additional supporting document required.
A professional account may be refused or suspended, in particular in the event of incorrect information, fraud, misuse or payment incident.
3. Catalogue and trade prices
The RoG Hunting professional area is also an online trade catalogue allowing you to view:
- 💰 Reseller prices
- 🏷️ Indicative retail prices
- 📦 Stock levels
- 🆕 New arrivals
- 📅 Products available for pre-order
- 🛡️ Key warranty information
The applicable prices are those displayed at the time of the order, unless a specific quotation or commercial agreement applies.
RoG Hunting may change its prices for future orders.
A price change does not apply retroactively to orders already definitively confirmed.
4. Orders and minimum order
Unless expressly stated otherwise, no minimum order is imposed on resellers.
An order becomes firm once validated and, where immediate payment is required, once payment is confirmed.
RoG Hunting may refuse or cancel an order, in particular in the event of:
- A payment incident
- A suspended account
- Suspected fraud
- Incorrect information
- An unresolved prior dispute
- Product unavailability
5. Stock, pre-orders and back-orders
Stock information is updated as regularly as possible.
Announced pre-order dates are estimates unless otherwise agreed in writing.
A delay originating from a manufacturer, carrier, logistics event, customs formality or external event reasonably beyond RoG Hunting's control does not automatically constitute a breach of contract.
Back-orders and automatic dispatch
When an ordered product is temporarily unavailable due to ongoing restocking, the order is placed on back-order.
Back-ordered items are automatically dispatched as soon as the product is received at our warehouse, without the need for a new order or any action from the professional.
A delivery delay caused by a supplier lead time, manufacturing delay, customs formality or any event reasonably beyond RoG Hunting's control does not constitute grounds for compensation, credit note, partial refund or contractual penalty, provided that the product is in transit or its arrival remains scheduled.
The professional is kept informed of back-order progress and may contact RoG Hunting for an updated status at any time.
If a restocking is definitively cancelled by the supplier, RoG Hunting will inform the professional promptly. A refund or credit note will then be offered for the affected products.
6. Payment
Available payment methods and terms are shown at the time of the order or on the invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed commercially, payment must be made in accordance with the terms stated at the time of the order.
Where deferred payment is granted, any delay may trigger the penalties and indemnities provided for by the applicable legal provisions.
Where French law on business-to-business transactions applies, late-payment penalties are due under the conditions set out in the French Commercial Code, together with the statutory fixed indemnity for recovery costs where its conditions of application are met.
7. Delivery
The professional must inspect the goods on receipt.
Any apparent anomaly concerning in particular:
- The condition of the parcel
- Quantities
- References
- A missing product
- Visible damage
must be reported as soon as possible, together with the necessary supporting evidence.
In the event of damage attributable to transport, the professional must also make the necessary reservations with the carrier in accordance with the applicable rules.
8. RoG Hunting B2B commercial warranty
8.1 Start date
Where a RoG Hunting commercial warranty is granted to a reseller, its duration is the one stated on the product page, the invoice or the applicable commercial terms.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the B2B commercial warranty starts on the date the product is invoiced or delivered by RoG Hunting to the reseller.
8.2 Storage by the reseller
Storage of the product by the reseller neither suspends nor extends the RoG Hunting commercial warranty.
Subsequent resale to an end customer:
- Does not renew the commercial warranty granted to the reseller
- Does not reset its duration to zero
- Does not automatically extend its expiry date
Example
A product invoiced by RoG Hunting to a reseller on 1 January 2025 with a B2B commercial warranty of 12 months is covered until 1 January 2026.
1 January 2025 + 12 months = 1 January 2026
If the reseller keeps the product in stock and only sells it to the end customer in September 2025, the RoG Hunting commercial warranty still runs until 1 January 2026: that resale does not create a new 12-month commercial warranty towards the reseller.
8.3 End customer
This rule concerns exclusively the RoG Hunting ↔ Reseller relationship.
It does not reduce any statutory rights the consumer may have in the Reseller ↔ End customer relationship.
The reseller remains responsible for the statutory obligations incumbent on it as the seller towards its own customer.
See also the detailed clause « Storage, resale period and commercial warranty ».
9. Traceability, serial number and activation
For certain products, RoG Hunting may set up a registration system to ensure traceability, activation of the commercial warranty and after-sales management.
The information that may be requested includes:
- 🔢 Serial number
- 📅 Date of purchase
- 👤 First and last name
- 📧 Email address
- 📞 Telephone number
- 🏪 Seller / reseller
- 🧾 Invoice number
The declared purchase date must match the invoice or proof of purchase.
RoG Hunting or the relevant service department may request a copy of the supporting document in order to check this information.
⚠️ Declaring the purchase date
Any deliberately false or inconsistent declaration may result in the suspension of the activation of the commercial warranty pending verification of the supporting documents.
A simple input error may be corrected on presentation of the corresponding invoice.
This administrative procedure cannot remove a mandatory statutory warranty where one applies.
10. After-sales requests
Any after-sales request must include the information needed to process it, in particular, as the case may be:
- Order number
- Invoice
- Serial number
- A precise description of the problem
- Photos or videos where needed for diagnosis
- Contact details of the requester
- Resale invoice to the end customer where necessary
Remote diagnosis may be requested before any physical return.
No product may be returned without first following the after-sales procedure communicated, where such a procedure is required.
Receipt of a product by a service centre does not automatically constitute acknowledgement of warranty coverage.
11. After-sales shipping costs — professionals
Under the RoG Hunting B2B commercial warranty, unless otherwise agreed or subject to specific conditions:
➡️ Shipping costs from the reseller to the designated service centre are borne by the reseller.
Where coverage under the commercial warranty is accepted:
- ✅ In the event of repair, the cost of returning the repaired product to the reseller is covered in accordance with the applicable after-sales procedure.
- ✅ In the event of an accepted replacement, the cost of shipping the replacement product to the reseller is covered in accordance with the applicable after-sales procedure.
If the diagnosis concludes that the failure is not covered by the commercial warranty, any diagnosis, repair, parts and return shipping costs may be invoiced after the professional has been informed and, where necessary, has accepted a quote.
12. Commercial warranty exclusions
Save for mandatory statutory provisions to the contrary, the commercial warranty does not cover:
- ❌ Impacts, drops or crushing
- ❌ Incorrect or abusive use
- ❌ Failure to comply with the instructions
- ❌ Immersion beyond the product's waterproofing specifications
- ❌ Unauthorised modification or repair
- ❌ Use of incompatible accessories that caused the failure
- ❌ Deliberate damage
- ❌ Mishandling
- ❌ Normal wear
- ❌ Cosmetic deterioration with no effect on operation
- ❌ Loss or theft
- ❌ Defects resulting from manifestly unsuitable maintenance
- ❌ Oxidation or corrosion resulting from use or maintenance not in line with the stated characteristics
13. Batteries
🔋 Commercial warranty: 6 months
Unless otherwise specified, batteries carry a 6-month commercial warranty under the conditions applicable to the sale concerned.
This commercial warranty covers manufacturing defects and abnormal failures identified after diagnosis.
A battery is nevertheless a component subject to progressive wear depending in particular on:
- The number of cycles
- Its age
- Temperatures
- Storage conditions
- Charging conditions
- Intensity of use
A normal, gradual decline in runtime or capacity does not in itself constitute a defect covered by the commercial warranty.
This 6-month commercial period does not limit a mandatory statutory warranty where one applies.
14. End-of-line and clearance products
Products identified as:
- End of line
- Clearance
- Previous generation
- Product replaced by a new generation
may benefit from specific commercial terms or a specific commercial warranty where these are clearly stated at the time of sale.
The professional acknowledges that certain products may subsequently be replaced by a new generation whose accessories, collars, remote controls, software or other components are not necessarily backwards compatible.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, RoG Hunting does not guarantee the compatibility of an older product with hardware generations marketed later.
15. Repair or replacement
Where a request is accepted under the applicable commercial warranty, the solution may include:
- 🔧 A repair
- 🔄 A replacement
- ⚙️ Replacement of a component
- 📦 Supply of an equivalent product
- 💳 A credit note where that solution is provided for or accepted
A replacement carried out under a commercial warranty does not automatically create a new full warranty period, save for mandatory provisions or written agreement to the contrary.
16. Special case — TR DOG after-sales service
🛠️ TR DOG after-sales handled directly by the manufacturer since May 2026
Since May 2026, TR DOG has been handling its own after-sales service directly.
Technical requests concerning TR DOG equipment involving in particular:
- Diagnosis
- Repair
- Technical work
- Component replacement
- Assessment of the equipment
are handled in accordance with the TR DOG after-sales procedure in force.
TR DOG has after-sales solutions across Europe. The competent centre may vary depending on the product, the country and the nature of the work.
RoG Hunting can direct its resellers to the appropriate TR DOG procedure or service centre.
The shipping and coverage arrangements applicable to a TR DOG case are those set out in the relevant TR DOG procedure.
This technical organisation of after-sales service is not intended to remove any statutory obligations of the seller towards its own customer.
17. Business returns outside the warranty
The right of withdrawal applicable to consumers does not automatically apply to purchases made for business purposes.
Any commercial return of a non-defective product requires RoG Hunting's prior agreement.
Depending on the situation, RoG Hunting may:
- Refuse the return
- Accept the return
- Apply a reduction
- Issue a credit note
- Invoice certain costs associated with the return
The conditions are communicated before the return is approved.
This provision is subject to any mandatory rights that may apply to certain professionals.
18. Reseller's obligations towards its customer
The reseller acts in its own name when reselling the products.
It is responsible in particular for:
- Issuing its invoice
- Keeping its proof of sale
- Complying with its statutory obligations
- Providing the consumer with the necessary information
- Providing the statutory warranties for which it is responsible
- Passing on the necessary manuals and warnings
- Not presenting a RoG Hunting commercial warranty as removing the consumer's statutory rights
RoG Hunting does not automatically become the contractual seller to the end customer merely because that customer owns a product marketed by RoG Hunting.
19. Commercial loyalty and non-competition
The RoG Hunting distributor status is granted on the basis of trust and commercial loyalty.
An authorised reseller is strictly prohibited from manufacturing, marketing, distributing or promoting products bearing substantial resemblance to RoG Hunting products, whether in terms of design, functionality, naming, packaging or commercial positioning, where such resemblance is likely to create confusion in the consumer's mind or to constitute counterfeiting or copying.
Non-compliance with this obligation shall result in:
- The immediate and automatic termination of distributor status, without notice or compensation
- Immediate suspension of access to professional pricing and the reseller catalogue
- The right of RoG Hunting to take any action to protect its intellectual property rights
This clause applies throughout the commercial relationship and for a period of 12 months following its termination, regardless of the cause.
Counterfeiting and copies
The distribution of counterfeit, copied or misleadingly similar products to RoG Hunting products constitutes a serious breach justifying the immediate loss of distributor status, without prejudice to any legal proceedings RoG Hunting reserves the right to initiate.
20. Minimum activity and reseller commitment
Authorised RoG Hunting reseller status requires active involvement in the promotion and sale of the brand's products.
Each authorised reseller must place at least one order every 90 calendar days, regardless of the amount.
This requirement ensures that RoG Hunting resellers are genuinely committed to distributing the products and maintaining an active presence with their customers.
In the event of non-compliance with this minimum frequency:
- RoG Hunting will send a reminder, granting the reseller 30 days to regularise by placing an order
- Failing regularisation within this period, the professional account may be suspended or terminated, without further notice or compensation
- Account reactivation after suspension remains at RoG Hunting's discretion
In exceptional circumstances (temporary closure, extended leave, events beyond the reseller's control), a temporary exemption may be requested by contacting RoG Hunting before the 90-day deadline expires.
21. Brand and image protection
The authorised reseller undertakes to promote RoG Hunting products in a manner consistent with the brand's image and values.
The reseller is specifically prohibited from:
- Modifying RoG Hunting visuals, logos or content without prior authorisation
- Selling RoG Hunting products on unauthorised platforms without written agreement
- Damaging the brand's image through unfair, misleading or unprofessional commercial practices
- Using the RoG Hunting brand in a context likely to cause harm
Any breach of these obligations may result in the suspension or termination of distributor status under the conditions set out in articles 19 and 20.
22. Technical characteristics
Some performance figures may vary depending on actual conditions of use.
This concerns in particular:
- Battery life
- Radio range
- GPS accuracy
- Mobile coverage
- Refresh rate
- Reception quality
- Battery performance
Terrain, buildings, vegetation, weather conditions, available networks, interference, settings and conditions of use may all influence the performance obtained.
23. Liability
RoG Hunting cannot be held liable for damage resulting directly from use contrary to the instructions, unauthorised modification or manifestly inappropriate use of the equipment.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by an applicable mandatory provision.
24. Intellectual property
RoG Hunting trademarks, logos, photographs, videos, texts, manuals, product pages, technical documents and other content remain protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Reseller status does not constitute any transfer of intellectual property.
25. Personal data
Data collected in connection with:
- Professional accounts
- Orders
- Product registration
- Warranty activations
- After-sales service
is processed in accordance with the applicable privacy policy.
Where a reseller passes on an end customer's data, it is responsible for ensuring it has an appropriate legal basis for that transfer.
26. Force majeure
Neither party may be held liable for a failure directly caused by an event of force majeure recognised under the applicable law.
27. Changes to the Pro Terms
RoG Hunting may amend these terms for future orders.
Save for mandatory provisions to the contrary, the version applicable to an order is the one applicable and accepted at the time the order is concluded.
28. Governing law and disputes
Given the international activity of NOVASOFT TECH and its partners, the governing law and competent jurisdiction are determined in accordance with the applicable legal rules and any contractual provisions validly agreed between professionals.
Nothing in these terms may deprive a party of mandatory protection to which it is entitled under the applicable legislation.
