Frequently Asked Questions

What care should be given to a hunting dog after a day in the field?

After the hunt, inspect the paw pads (thorns, cuts), ears (grass seeds) and coat (ticks). Apply a repair balm to damaged paw pads. If the dog has worked intensively, a muscle recovery supplement helps prevent soreness and ligament injuries.

Are food supplements useful for hunting dogs?

Yes, active hunting dogs have higher nutritional needs than sedentary dogs. Joint supplements (glucosamine, chondroitin), omega-3 fatty acids (anti-inflammatory) and B vitamins (energy) support the performance and recovery of the sporting dog.
