Connectivity
Real-time tracking on the app requires an active 4G network connection (integrated SIM card with data plan). WiFi and Bluetooth refine location precision and handle local device pairing.
Fully customisable virtual fences
Up to 6 configurable zones (allowed and forbidden), in circular, quadrilateral or hexagonal shapes, adaptable to any terrain. A "scenes" system (Home, Work, Outdoor, custom) lets you instantly switch configurations by location.
Progressive intelligent training · unlimited range
The RoG Area IV offers two ways to correct your dog's behaviour, fully configurable from the RoG app.
1. Automatic correction via virtual fence
When the dog crosses the limit of a defined zone (allowed or forbidden), the collar automatically triggers a progressive correction — with no intervention required from you.
Progression of intensity
- Exit zone → level 1 immediately
- Every 10 seconds outside the zone, +1 level (up to level 5)
- After level 5: protection mode for 1 min (audible alert only, no stimulation), then restart at level 1
Smart approach logic
As soon as the dog moves back towards the zone — even without fully returning — the correction stops immediately. Stimulation only resumes if the dog moves further than the previously reached distance. The collar therefore never penalises a dog that is progressing in the right direction.
2. Manual correction from the app — no distance limit
Trigger a stimulation yourself at any time, directly from the app, wherever you are. The command travels over the 4G/LTE network via the RoG server: there is no physical distance limit between you and your dog, unlike a classic training collar limited to a few dozen metres over Bluetooth. The collar only needs an active mobile network connection.

⚠ Usage condition
The manual mode only works when the collar has an active mobile network signal (multi-carrier SIM included with data plan). In a complete dead zone, only automatic virtual-fence corrections remain operational (the collar triggers locally, without needing a server connection).
