TERMS OF SALE

Consumers — RoG Hunting — NOVASOFT TECH LLP — Company No. OC459443 — England & Wales

Dernière mise à jour : August 2026

Version: August 2026. These terms apply to individual consumers. Professionals and resellers are covered by the Professional Terms of Sale. For the practical return, warranty and after-sales procedure, see Returns, warranty & after-sales.

Article 1 — Purpose and scope

These Terms of Sale ("Terms") govern sales made by NOVASOFT TECH LLP, which operates the RoG Hunting brand among others, to individual consumer customers purchasing on the RoG Hunting website.

These Terms apply to sales intended for personal use.

Professionals and resellers are subject to the RoG Hunting Professional Terms of Sale.

Any order implies acceptance of these Terms in the version applicable at the time of the order.

Article 2 — Products

The products offered are those presented in the online catalogue, subject to available stock.

The essential characteristics of each product are stated on its product page, depending on the product:

  • Description
  • Features
  • Compatibility
  • Technical specifications
  • Accessories supplied
  • Duration of any commercial warranty offered

Photographs and lifestyle images are for illustration only. Slight differences in colour, presentation or packaging may occur without altering the essential characteristics of the product.

RoG Hunting may change its range for future orders.

Article 3 — Prices, taxes and customs

The applicable prices are those displayed when the order is confirmed.

📦 DDP delivery — taxes and duties included

Where an order is stated as shipped DDP – Delivered Duty Paid, the import taxes, duties and formalities covered as part of that delivery are included in accordance with the conditions announced at the time of the order.

The customer therefore has no additional customs duties to pay on receipt for a delivery announced as DDP.

The total price of the order and any delivery costs are shown before final payment confirmation.

RoG Hunting may change its prices at any time for future orders.

A price change does not affect an order already definitively confirmed.

Article 4 — Orders

The customer:

  1. Selects the products
  2. Enters their details
  3. Chooses a delivery method
  4. Chooses a payment method
  5. Reads and accepts these Terms
  6. Checks the summary
  7. Confirms the order

A confirmation is then sent to the email address provided.

RoG Hunting may refuse or cancel an order on legitimate grounds, in particular:

  • Payment incident
  • Suspected fraud
  • Manifestly incorrect information
  • Product unavailability
  • Abnormally high quantities
  • An order manifestly intended for professional resale

Article 5 — Payment

The payment methods offered are shown at the time of the order.

They may include:

  • 💳 Bank card and compatible payment methods via our payment provider
  • 🏦 SEPA bank transfer

Sensitive banking information is processed by the payment providers concerned in accordance with their own security systems.

RoG Hunting does not itself retain the full bank card number when payment is processed by an external provider.

Where payment is made by bank transfer, the order may remain pending until the funds are actually received.

Article 6 — Delivery

The arrangements, carriers, estimated lead times and applicable costs are shown at the time of the order.

The announced lead times are those expected for delivery under normal conditions.

Delivery delays and backorders

Some products may be temporarily unavailable because a restock is in progress with our suppliers. In such cases, the customer is informed at the time of the order or as soon as the unavailability is identified.

Where a product is placed on backorder (a temporary shortage with a scheduled restock), shipping is carried out automatically as soon as the product is received in our warehouse, with no further action required from the customer.

A delivery delay caused by a supplier lead time, a logistics event, a manufacturing delay, a customs formality or any event reasonably beyond RoG Hunting's control does not constitute grounds for compensation, credit or partial refund, provided the product is actually in transit or its delivery remains scheduled.

The customer is kept informed of the progress of the order and may contact customer service at any time to obtain an up-to-date status of the shipment.

In the event of a delay, the consumer rights provided for by the applicable regulations remain fully applicable, in particular the right of termination provided for by the legal provisions in force where the legal conditions are met.

The customer must check the condition of the parcel on receipt and promptly report any anomaly so that it can be dealt with.

Article 7 — Right of withdrawal

Where French consumer law applies to a distance purchase, the consumer has in principle 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to give reasons.

The customer may exercise this right by contacting RoG Hunting or by using the return procedure available in their customer area where offered.

After notifying their decision, the product must be returned within the applicable statutory period.

The product must be accompanied by its accessories and, as far as possible, its original packaging.

The consumer may handle the product only as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and proper functioning.

Any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary may remain at their expense under the conditions provided for by the regulations.

📦 Return costs in the event of withdrawal

The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer where they have been properly informed of this before the order.

The refund is issued in accordance with the applicable statutory terms and deadlines.

Article 8 — Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal may be excluded in the situations provided for by the applicable regulations, in particular for:

  • Certain personalised products or products made to the consumer's specifications
  • Certain sealed products which cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed
  • Other products or services legally benefiting from an exception

The applicable exception is stated where necessary before the order.

Article 9 — Statutory warranty of conformity

For consumers to whom French law applies, the seller is liable for the conformity of the product sold under the conditions laid down by the French Consumer Code.

For goods, the consumer benefits in particular from the statutory warranty of conformity within the applicable statutory period from delivery.

Where its conditions are met, the consumer may in particular request:

  • 🔧 Repair
  • 🔄 Replacement

and, in certain situations provided for by the regulations:

  • 💶 A price reduction
  • ↩️ Rescission of the contract

Bringing the goods into conformity under the statutory warranty is carried out free of charge for the consumer in accordance with the applicable provisions.

The commercial warranties offered by RoG Hunting never replace or reduce this statutory warranty.

Article 10 — Warranty against latent defects

The consumer may also benefit from the warranty against latent defects provided for by articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code where its conditions are met.

This warranty is independent of the RoG Hunting commercial warranty.

Article 11 — RoG Hunting commercial warranty

In addition to the statutory warranties, certain products benefit from a RoG Hunting commercial warranty.

The applicable duration is stated on the product page, the invoice or the corresponding commercial documents.

As an indication, by range:

CategoryCommercial warranty
TR DOG GPS — base unit & collars24 months*
4G / 360° trail cameras24 months
OpticsDepending on product
Dog vests & clothing12 months
Batteries6 months
Antennas, accessories and partsDepending on product
Other productsDuration stated on the product page

* Since May 2026, TR DOG technical after-sales service is handled directly by TR DOG under its own after-sales procedure.

The duration stated on the product page or the specific conditions applicable at the time of purchase prevails for the commercial warranty concerned.

Article 12 — Batteries

🔋 Commercial warranty: 6 months

Batteries carry a 6-month commercial warranty, unless more favourable specific conditions are stated at the time of purchase.

This commercial warranty covers manufacturing defects and abnormal failures identified after diagnosis.

Batteries are nevertheless components subject to natural wear and ageing.

Their runtime may gradually decrease depending in particular on:

  • The number of charge cycles
  • Age
  • Charging conditions
  • Temperatures
  • Storage conditions
  • Intensity of use

A normal, gradual decline in capacity or runtime does not in itself constitute a defect covered by the commercial warranty.

This 6-month period concerns only the commercial warranty and does not reduce the mandatory statutory warranties applicable to the consumer.

Article 13 — Commercial warranty exclusions

Save for mandatory statutory provisions to the contrary, the commercial warranty does not cover:

  • Impacts, drops or crushing
  • Normal wear
  • Mishandling
  • Use contrary to the instructions
  • Immersion beyond the stated waterproofing specifications
  • Unauthorised modification or repair
  • A failure caused by an incompatible accessory
  • Deliberate damage
  • Purely cosmetic deterioration with no effect on operation
  • Loss or theft
  • Damage resulting from manifestly unsuitable maintenance

These exclusions concern the commercial warranty and cannot have the effect of setting aside a mandatory statutory warranty where its conditions are met.

Article 14 — Activation, invoice and serial number

For certain equipment, RoG Hunting may offer a registration system intended to facilitate traceability and the handling of warranties and after-sales service.

The following may be requested:

  • 🔢 Serial number
  • 👤 First and last name
  • 📧 Email address
  • 📞 Telephone
  • 🏪 Seller or reseller
  • 🧾 Invoice number
  • 📅 Date of purchase

The declared date must match the date shown on the proof of purchase.

⚠️ Accuracy of the information

A deliberately false or inconsistent date may result in the suspension of the activation of the commercial warranty pending verification of the invoice.

An input error may be corrected after verification of the supporting document.

This procedure cannot remove or artificially suspend a mandatory statutory warranty.

Article 15 — After-sales service

To open an after-sales case, the customer may be asked to provide:

  • Invoice or order number
  • Serial number
  • Description of the problem
  • Photos or videos enabling diagnosis where necessary
  • Contact details of the requester

Remote diagnosis may be carried out before a return is authorised.

The customer must not ship the product before receiving the after-sales instructions where prior authorisation is required.

Receipt of a product does not automatically constitute acknowledgement of warranty coverage.

Article 16 — After-sales shipping costs

Commercial warranty

Under the RoG Hunting commercial warranty, unless more favourable specific conditions apply:

➡️ The cost of shipping the product from the customer to the designated service centre is borne by the customer.

Where coverage under the commercial warranty is accepted:

  • ✅ The cost of returning the repaired product to the customer is covered in accordance with the applicable after-sales conditions; or
  • ✅ The cost of shipping the replacement product is covered in accordance with the applicable after-sales conditions.

If the diagnosis concludes that the problem is not covered, a quote or an out-of-warranty solution may be offered.

⚖️ Statutory warranty

The rules above concern the commercial warranty.

Where a request falls under the statutory warranty of conformity, bringing the goods into conformity must be carried out free of charge for the consumer in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Article 17 — TR DOG after-sales service

🛰️ After-sales handled directly by TR DOG since May 2026

Since May 2026, TR DOG has been handling the technical management of its own after-sales service directly.

Cases requiring in particular:

  • Diagnosis
  • Repair
  • Technical work
  • Replacement of a component
  • Expert assessment

are handled in accordance with the TR DOG after-sales procedure in force.

RoG Hunting can direct the customer to the appropriate procedure and technical centre.

Important

Where RoG Hunting is the seller of the product to the consumer, the technical organisation of after-sales service by TR DOG does not remove RoG Hunting's statutory obligations towards its customer where these are applicable.

Article 18 — Purchase from a reseller

Where the consumer buys a RoG Hunting product, or a product distributed by RoG Hunting, from an independent professional reseller, that reseller is their contractual seller.

To exercise a statutory warranty attached to that sale, the consumer must therefore first contact their seller.

Any RoG Hunting commercial warranty or manufacturer warranty may be in addition to the rights the consumer has against their seller.

Article 19 — End of line and product evolution

Certain products may be offered as:

  • End of line
  • Clearance
  • Previous generation

RoG Hunting may develop its ranges and technologies.

The launch of a new generation does not automatically guarantee compatibility with older accessories, collars, remote controls, software or other components.

The characteristics and compatibility stated at the time of purchase of the product remain the reference.

Article 20 — Liability and performance

Certain technical performance figures may vary depending on actual conditions of use, in particular:

  • Battery life
  • Range
  • Radio reception
  • Network coverage
  • GPS accuracy
  • Refresh rate

Terrain, buildings, vegetation, weather conditions, available networks, interference and settings may all influence performance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such a limitation is prohibited by an applicable mandatory rule.

Article 21 — Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the RoG Hunting Privacy Policy and the applicable data protection regulations.

Article 22 — Mediation and disputes

In the event of a difficulty, the customer is invited to contact customer service first in order to seek an amicable solution.

Following a prior written complaint and where the statutory conditions are met, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator to which RoG Hunting belongs:

CNPM — Médiation de la Consommation
27 avenue de la Libération, 42400 Saint-Chamond, France
cnpm-mediation-consommation.eu

The consumer may also use the European online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

These provisions do not prevent the consumer from exercising the remedies legally available to them.

Article 23 — Governing law

Relations with French consumers are subject to the mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in France.

Any choice of another law may not have the effect of depriving a consumer of the protection of the mandatory provisions they benefit from.

Article 24 — Changes to the Terms

RoG Hunting may amend these Terms for future orders.

The version applicable to an order is the one applicable at the time it is concluded, save for mandatory provisions to the contrary.

Article 25 — Contact

For any question relating to:

  • 📦 An order
  • ↩️ A return
  • 🛡️ A warranty
  • 🔧 After-sales service

the customer may contact RoG Hunting using the details provided on the site: info@roghunting.com or via the contact form.
