How do I know if my dog GPS battery is worn out?

If your GPS collar lasts less than half its original battery life, or if it shuts down abruptly after a few hours, the battery is probably at the end of its life. Lithium batteries lose about 20% capacity after 300–500 charge cycles. We recommend replacement every 2–3 years for regular users.
